What happens when we confront our dark side? In my search for my own shadow, I delved into the dark tales of Cologne and followed the story of Gerhard, the first Baumeister of the Cologne Cathedral. His myth reveals the eternal struggle with inner demons, a battle that led him to despair and ultimately the loss of his soul. Through this project, I explored this metaphorical edge, gazing into the abyss in search of answers (as Nietzsche proposed), only to encounter the creatures that dwell within.
